HOT DIP GALVANIZED EARTH GROUND RODS

IEC French Standard (International Electrotechnical Commission) 60364-5-54 transposed into Italy CEI 64-8/54

Grounding protection is mandatory in all civil and industrial facilities.

To make a grounding system, must be used the groundrod, cross-shaped, square or cylindrical, usually of more than 1 meter length, are required, on which the ground cable is bolted to the top.

Ground rods are also extensible elements, which come into the ground, make up the grounding system, creating an electrical connection and ground current dispersion.

The groundrod can be horizontal and consists of flat or round conductors, or vertically inclined in the ground, by picks or pegs of earth, also known as ground picket.

These ground rods can be both galvanized and copper plated in accordance with CEI 11-1 CEI 64-8 EN62305-3.
